Venturing into Wiki world

I think Wikis could be very useful in public libraries. They are a great readers advisory tool as "What's a good book?" is the hardest question to answer because it's so subjective. I like how a readers advisory wiki can generate a community discussion about great reads. A wiki is also an ideal way for librarians all over the world to discuss best practice. My next task is to investigate how do you find a wiki on a particular topic or for a target audience eg. librarians interested in professional development.
